01Can I use MerchLab anywhere in Morocco?+
Yes. Wherever you're based — Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Tanger, Agadir or any small town — you can sell with MerchLab. We print in Morocco and deliver to all 12 regions, including Cash on Delivery.
02Can I use MerchLab if I don't have an online store?+
Absolutely. You don't need Shopify, WooCommerce or YouCan to start. Every brand on MerchLab gets a free hosted micro-store at merchlab.studio/store/your-brand — share the link on Instagram, TikTok or WhatsApp and start taking orders today.
03How do I get started?+
Sign up for free, pick a product, upload your design (or pick one from our library of 1000+ ready-to-print designs), set your selling price, and share your store link. We handle the rest — printing, packing, confirmation calls and delivery.
04How much does it cost to launch a brand?+
Starting is completely free. No inventory, no monthly fees on the Starter plan. You only pay the production cost when a customer places an order — and that cost is deducted from the sale, not from your pocket.
05Do I need a registered business or RC to sell?+
No. You can start as an individual creator. Once your brand grows, we can guide you through registering as an auto-entrepreneur in Morocco to formalize your activity.

Products & design

01How do I design a product?+
Use our drag-and-drop editor right inside your dashboard. Upload your artwork, position it on a real product mockup, and preview the result instantly. No Photoshop needed — but if you prefer, you can upload print-ready files too.
02What are the print file requirements?+
PNG with transparent background, minimum 300 DPI, RGB color mode for DTF/DTG and CMYK for sublimation. The recommended print area is 30x40 cm for apparel. Our editor checks every file automatically and warns you before production.
03Which color profile should I use?+
RGB (sRGB) for direct-to-garment, direct-to-film and UV prints — they reproduce colors more vividly. CMYK for sublimation on mugs, bottles and home goods. If you're unsure, just upload RGB and we'll convert it correctly.
04What does resolution and DPI mean?+
DPI (dots per inch) is the print density — the higher, the sharper. We recommend 300 DPI at the final printed size. A 1200x1500 px image prints crisply at A4. Anything below 150 DPI may look blurry on the final product.
05Can I edit a design I previously created?+
Yes. Every design lives in your Library and can be edited, duplicated, applied to a new product, or archived at any time — even after you've sold it.
06Can I use my own logo and packaging?+
Yes. From the Pro plan onward, you can upload your logo for branded packaging inserts, custom thank-you cards and neck labels — all printed on demand with your order.
07Do you offer thread embroidery (طرز / broderie)?+
Yes. We offer premium machine embroidery on caps, polos, hoodies, sweatshirts and tote bags — up to 12 thread colors, ideal for logos, monograms and crests. Embroidery lasts 50+ washes and gives your brand a true luxury feel. Upload a vector logo (SVG, AI or high-res PNG) and we handle the digitizing.
08Embroidery vs printing — which one should I pick?+
Pick embroidery for caps, polos, premium hoodies, workwear and any product where you want a luxury, durable, tactile finish. Pick DTF/sublimation printing for full-color artwork, photos, large designs and t-shirts. You can mix both on the same brand — many of our top sellers print t-shirts and embroider their caps and polos.
09Are there content rules?+
Yes. We don't print copyrighted artwork you don't own, hate speech, explicit content or anything illegal under Moroccan law. Everything else — your art, original designs, AI-generated work you own — is welcome.

Orders & fulfillment

01How long does production and delivery take?+
Production takes 24–48 hours after the order is confirmed. Delivery takes 2–4 days in major cities (Casa, Rabat, Tanger, Marrakech) and 3–6 days in smaller towns. Total: usually 3–7 days from order to doorstep.
02How do I track my order?+
Every order has a live tracking page. You and your customer get an SMS with the tracking link the moment we hand the package to the courier. You can also see all orders in real time from your dashboard.
03Will my customers know they're buying from MerchLab?+
No. We ship in unbranded packaging by default, with your brand name on the invoice. You stay the brand — we stay invisible. Pro and Scale plans unlock fully custom branded packaging.
04How long does production take during holidays (Eid, Aïd, end of year)?+
We add 1–2 days during peak periods (Aïd, Black Friday, Ramadan, end of year). We post a banner in your dashboard 10 days in advance so you can warn your customers.

Payments & pricing

01Do you accept Cash on Delivery (COD)?+
Yes — COD is available everywhere in Morocco for almost all our products. Every COD order is confirmed by our team via phone call before production, so refusal rates stay below 8%.
02Why isn't COD available on a few products?+
A small number of fragile or made-to-order items (like ceramic mugs with custom photos or large home decor pieces) require prepayment to keep refusal rates manageable. These are clearly marked in the editor.
03Which payment methods do you accept from end customers?+
Cash on Delivery, bank cards (CMI), and bank transfer. Stripe and PayPal will be added in 2026 for international sales.
04What if my customer doesn't have a credit card?+
No problem — Cash on Delivery covers them. They pay the courier directly when they receive the package.
05How does MerchLab charge me?+
We deduct the production cost from each sale. You set your retail price, we set the production cost transparently in the editor — the difference is your margin, paid out weekly to your bank account in MAD.
06What does the product price include?+
The price you see in the editor includes: the blank product, printing, packing, customer-service confirmation calls, and last-mile delivery anywhere in Morocco. There are no surprise fees.
07How and when do I get paid?+
Margins are paid out every Monday for all orders confirmed delivered the previous week. Payouts go directly to your Moroccan bank account (RIB) via SEPA-equivalent transfer.

Returns, refunds & quality

01What's your return and refund policy?+
Print-on-demand items are made for each customer, so we don't accept returns for change of mind. We do replace or refund any item that arrives damaged, defective or printed incorrectly — no questions asked, with proof photos.
02What if the product arrives damaged or wrong?+
Email support@merchlab.studio with photos within 7 days of delivery. We'll reprint and reship at our cost, or issue a full refund — whichever the customer prefers.
03What's the time limit to request a refund?+
7 days from delivery for damaged or defective items. After 7 days we can no longer guarantee a free reprint, but we'll always try to find a solution.
04What if my customer simply doesn't like the product?+
If the issue is a quality or printing problem, we'll fix it. If it's just personal taste, we'll work with you to offer the customer a discount on their next order — keeping the relationship warm without absorbing the cost twice.
05How long until I receive my refund?+
Approved refunds are processed within 3–5 business days back to the original payment method (or to your MerchLab balance if you prefer a faster reprint).
06What if shipping hasn't been updated for several days?+
If you don't see a tracking update for more than 72 hours, contact us. We open an investigation with the courier the same day, and reship for free if the package is confirmed lost.
07How do I handle a returned order?+
If a COD customer refuses delivery, the package comes back to us. We notify you immediately — you can ask us to reship to a corrected address, donate the item, or destroy it. You're never charged twice for the same order.

01Which e-commerce platforms do you integrate with?+
Today: your free MerchLab micro-store works out of the box. Coming Q1 2026: Shopify, YouCan, WooCommerce and Sellix integrations to sync products, inventory and orders automatically.
02Can I sell on Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp?+
Yes — that's exactly what most of our creators do. Share your store link in your bio, in DMs, or in TikTok comments. Every visit is tracked in your dashboard analytics.
03Can I connect my own domain?+
Yes. From the Pro plan, connect your own domain (e.g. shop.yourbrand.ma) to your MerchLab store with a free SSL certificate.

01How do I contact MerchLab support?+
Email support@merchlab.studio, WhatsApp +212 600-000-000, or open a ticket from your dashboard. We reply within 4 working hours, in Darija, French or English.
02Can I cancel an order after I've paid?+
Yes, as long as production hasn't started. Cancel from your dashboard within 1 hour of placing the order for a full refund. Once printing begins, we can no longer cancel.
03Do you offer onboarding for new sellers?+
Every new account gets a free 30-minute onboarding call (in Darija, French or English) to set up the store, pick the right products and plan your first launch.
